Good afternoon everyone!
This is a call to action to all of our students who have a Drive Test coming up before the end of 2010. If you have not already finished, or scheduled your driver training with us, you need to do it RIGHT NOW.
Many of you already know that we often pull of miraculous scheduling feats for our students. Please remember that we often postpone / cancel important events with our family and friends to accomplish this. Disappointing our family and friends is not a good thing. Scheduling and completing your lessons in a reasonable time frame will help us to avoid this.
We love teaching, and we want you to be a safe driver, who passes the DMV test the first time. Please help us continue to do this by getting your lessons scheduled and finished in a reasonable time frame.
What is a reasonable time frame?
Ideally this would mean scheduling and completing all of your lessons before scheduling your DMV test. This translates to 30 – 45 days prior to your test. I know, 45 days is a pretty long time, but this is the ideal scenario.
The bare minimum of a reasonable time frame is scheduling no less than 2 weeks prior to your test, and completing your last lesson within 1 week of your test. This gives us both some breathing room, and provides a cushion for unforeseen events. Remember that Amber and I are human beings, and we do sometimes get sick. Also, there is always a chance that our training car could be destroyed by an asteroid from outer space
, or some other scenario beyond our control. Having that bit of cushion allows us to handle these type of things without compromising your DMV test.
Have a great day,
Drive Happy!
